Dr. Bipin Patel is a biotech pharma entrepreneur with over 20 years of experience and a track record for building value across early-stage drug discovery, development, and commercialization. Based in Cambridge, U.K., and highly regarded for his international pharmaceutical business development work, Dr. Patel has established an extensive global big-pharma network across the U.S., Europe, Japan, and China. He specializes in surfacing and shaping opportunities, securing finance, and driving assets to conclusion. He has held senior roles, including CEO, CSO, COO, strategic council, and board of directors. He has driven various initiatives such as drug discovery and preclinical and clinical development in numerous biotech industries. Dr. Patel has a strong business and commercial acumen with an aptitude for deal-making and partnering.

Mr. Daniel Claycamp is the current Chief Operating Officer for Astra Energy Inc. and past Vice President of Operations for GenCanna Global USA. He is an experienced professional with over 34 years of experience providing executive management for engineering, construction, environmental, and operational activities on several food-grade grain milling, food processing, biofuels, hemp, and cannabis facilities. Dan has also successfully managed greenfield projects in Wisconsin, Illinois, Missouri, and Kentucky from concept design to operational cash flow, with the latest project being an $83M food-grade hemp processing facility. Mr. Claycamp is a graduate of Kansas State University, with a Bachelor of Science degree in Milling Science and Management. He has held senior management positions at top milling companies, including Quaker Oats, Bunge, SEMO Milling, Didion Milling, and United Maize. Dan has successfully managed and directed teams to execute pathways for successful 3rd party accreditations, licenses, permits, and compliance with governing agencies like the FDA, USDA, EPA, ESSA, OSHA, FSMA, SQF, and BRC in the grain milling and food industries. He has also managed and developed supply chain platforms from suppliers to customers that have met and exceeded company visions, goals, and objectives, all focusing on being environmentally friendly and green. Through his 34 years of experience managing several large-scale construction projects, he has gained a deep knowledge of AC and DC electrical design parameters for electrical transformers, switchgear, controls, and motors in either alternating or direct current applications and high, medium, and low voltage design applications. Dan is also a seasoned expert in reviewing and identifying opportunities for process improvements on proposed and current technologies in the food manufacturing and biotechnology industries. As the past Chief Operating Officer of MOR Technology, Dan was crucial in the intellectual property development of fractionation and supercritical extraction technologies and has authored or coauthored 7 United States patents. Mr. Claycamp is currently a board member and director for Greenspot Biomedical located in Peru and is an advisory board member for Green Hygienics Holdings Inc. located in Poway, CA. He has been a member of the Iowa Renewable Fuels Association, Illinois Corn Growers and Marketing Board, International Association of Operative Millers, and Renewable Fuels Association.

Mr. Mathur currently serves as Scientific Advisor for several premier cannabis and hemp-based operations where he directs efforts on cannabis molecular breeding, designed at the development of pure-line hybrid cultivars with defined chemical profiles tailored for specific therapeutic medical applications. Eric also focuses on high bioavailability drug delivery methods to facilitate medical applications of cannabis products. His expertise and knowledge traverses’ genome sciences, molecular biology, environmental microbiology, plant-microbe interactions, metagenomics, enzyme & drug discovery, plant domestication, and applied biotechnology. Eric’s career spans over 40 years in basic and applied biotechnology with a focus on translational science. He entered the San Diego biotechnology arena early, in 1983, as the founder of Stratagene, where he discovered and commercialized Pfu DNA polymerase, which is still a mainstay enzyme used in the PCR industry. After a nine-year tenure, Mathur was recruited to become the first employee of Diversa Corporation, which later achieved the largest biotech IPO of the time, raising $200MM in 2001. At Diversa, Eric managed a large scientific team and multiple corporate collaborations with industrial partners including Syngenta, Dow Chemical, and BASF. Following 14 years with Diversa, Mathur was recruited to start Craig Venter’s company Synthetic Genomics, where he led research efforts in microbial enhanced hydrocarbon recovery sponsored by BP. He also spearheaded the genome sequencing and annotation of the oil palm genome for Genting Berhad and established a platform for plant growth-promoting bacteria which led to the spinout, Agradis, and subsequent Monsanto acquisition. Eric’s interests then turned to plant genomics and crop domestication. He worked as Chief Scientific Officer for several companies including Yulex Corporation and SG Biofuels, GreenKiss NY and Cultivation Technologies Inc., and more recently Tilt Holdings, where he applied modern genomic tools and plant molecular breeding methods to accelerate plant productivity. His work culminated in dramatic yield improvements in two sustainable crops; Guayule for natural rubber production, and Jatropha for biodiesel. Mathur’s team also made significant advances in cannabis and continues breeding as well as plant improvement activities with a number of organizations. Eric Mathur is an internationally recognized speaker who has authored over 50 peer-reviewed publications and is named Inventor on over 100 issued patents. Eric’s passion lies in leveraging genome-based technologies to develop nutrient-dense foods and therapeutic medicinals. Eric is also an ardent supporter of sustainable agriculture and does his part to help secure global food & energy security while minimizing the impact on our fragile environment.
